What's the Buzz? is designed for children who struggle to make friends and fit in socially.
These are children who lack confidence, find it difficult to fit in, react too quickly and put others off, struggle to read the social play, to bounce back after upsets and deal with day to day frustrations appropriately. In essence, they have trouble making sense of how the social systems they interact with work; the family system, the school system or the friends system.
What’s the Buzz? has proven to be particularly helpful for children with Asperger syndrome. Similarly, those diagnosed with High Functioning Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Specific Learning Difficulties, Dyslexia, Nonverbal learning disorder, Pervasive Development Disorder Not Otherwise Specified, Language Disorder, Auditory Processing Disorder and social phobia have also benefited.
